Support Groups and Service Groups

Life is good in Robson Ranch and residents here do not fail to give back to the community. Robson Ranch is home to a variety of service and support organizations that aim to serve the community and society in general. Here are some support groups and organizations that you might be interested in joining:

  • Breast Cancer Support Group – The group, open to breast cancer survivors and patients, aims to inform, support, and encourage each other throughout their battle with the disease. The support group actively participates in informational forums and events such as the Komen Race for the Cure and the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life. Members meet for lunch at Robson Ranch Grill every fourth Monday of each month.
  • Kiwanis Club – A global organization of volunteers, the Kiwanis Club of Robson Ranch has over 60 members that are passionate about making a difference by helping communities in need. The Kiwanis Club aims to change the world one child and one community at a time. Meetings are held at the Clubhouse at 9 am of every first and third Friday of each month.
  • Support Our Troops – This non-profit charitable organization aims to help American soldiers at home and abroad by providing for their material, physical, and emotional needs. Care packages as well as mementos such as cards and letters from home are distributed to service personnel. Support Our Troops also gives financial support to likeminded organizations. Members meet every third Saturday, from January to November. Membership costs $10 a year. For more information, log on to supportourtroopstexas.com.
  • Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) – Members of the Community Emergency Response Team are trained in disaster preparedness, terrorist threats and attacks, and how to handle grueling emergency situations. The CERT also provides the Denton Fire Department additional support in certain incidents.
